SWOT ANALYSIS

SWOT Analysis stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats Analysis and is done in this case at a personal level in relation to learning the email transmission, recent threats scenarios and implementation of email security tool.

Self-assessment is important to set a clear plan for the progress of any project or mission. This SWOT analysis is also the framework for analyzing and identifying both the internal and external factors that may affect the viability of a project, product, location, or individual. An evaluation of the current situation and the prospective situation is important in order for any organization or individual to allow long-term planning. The assessment requires a strengths , limitations, threats and opportunities review.Weakness and strength help to recognize the company's or self's current role while difficulties and opportunities help explore the barriers ahead and consider the potential benefits once this project is completed.

In the next five years I plan on establishing myself as a  Cyber Security and Database Analyst. I have previously worked as developer and software testing analyst so it will help to study loophole of cyber security of an organizations. As as part of database security i am learning database migration, extraction process, data analysis, data visualization etc and as a part of cyber security i am learning CISSP, Python, Linux and Cyber Security tools among which i have done NSDC project. My aim is to help and aware any individuals and organization to protect them from data leak, data hacking and cyber threats.

Strength	Weakness
I have 5 years of Good Cybersecurity research, analysis and expertise which will help me to implement Barracuda Email Security Gateway effectively. Working on daily cyber security hygiene like email URL backlist whitelist check, IP filtering will help to quick implementation.	As I will implement the Barracuda Email Security Gateway. A minor delay in licensing and budgeting can occur late achievement of project output. As I am a student, along with the work I face difficulty in managing time for both study and work.
Opportunity	Threat
Acting with various clients makes my network link grow Could direct and share some of my ideas about keeping various organizations in email protection status	Various security problems can occur like new malware, misconfiguration, attacks, server crash etc. As the email security gateway Barracuda needs qualified manpower to use. New learners find it very complex.

5 years Strategic Plan

Therefore, as per the above SWOT Review, the approach from the very first few months through the period is to effectively remove the weaknesses and turn them into strengths by adaptation and learning new techniques of self-management. It should certainly also require efforts to track the risks closely, so that they can either be stopped or mitigated by keeping me always up to date with database and cyber security research.

To briefly summarize, as part of the overall plan, the first year will be dedicated in polishing and refining my knowledge on the fundamentals of cyber threats,mean while learning various cyber security based tools for protecting from attacks, data leak and hacking will be my first priority.

Next two to three years will be dedicated for certification course and research related to world wide database and cyber threats.

At the same time, in the last two yeas of the five-year plan, the aim is to learn the concepts of project and team management from both a theoretical and realistic perspective so that my skills can be developed from a strategic perspective and not only from a technical perspective. This will be an important way to help me achieve my goal of being a good Information Security and Database Analyst.in next 5 years
