During the course of this module I attended lectures about the value of email protection program, recent email threats and how they impact organization, as illustrated in the previous tab titled 'Study of Recent Threats and Cyber Crimes in Email Security.

• Why Barracuda Email Security Gateway and Advanced Threat Protection and not others email security products.

Choosing a perfect needed Email Security Application is so hard, while working for organization you have to purchase and installed application that should be between the estimated allocated budget. There where many email security tools companion to Barracuda but according to pros and cons, customer review and comparison i found Barracuda is the correct email security tool for my organization. • To adhere with the Leeds Beckett University

Evaluation

Since i have done assessment of Barracuda Email Security Gateway and Advanced Threat Protection on currently working organization. I suggested my fellow worker friends to provide me review of  products. Below is some review

Friend: For quite sometime, we were looking for a filtration software which could detect and stop threats, such as phishing, malware, spams, etc, that is propagate via emails while also employing protection against data leaks via emails. Once you come with Barracuda idea and implement to this end, Barracuda Email Security Gateway is perfect while being affordable enough. It even provides the feature to encrypt emails which could be a requirement for many organisations

• What do you like most about the product or service?

There so much to like and little to dislike. Barracuda Email Security Gateway provides many capabilities from protection against phishing, spams, malware, etc to protection against possible data leaks from the organization. The best feature, personally, is its quarantine function where unwanted emails are separated as quarantine and the receiver will get an email from the system on how many quarantine emails are there for him/her and from whom they have been sent. Then the user can take necessary actions on whether to release the single email, or release and allow the sender or deny the email altogether. It analyzes the emails extensively to provide higher number of true positives.

• What do you dislike most about the product or service?

Even though the use is quite easy to understand, still implementing in in a large scale organization may prove to be a little overwhelming. UIs may need a little more advancement in being fast while covering all the features Barracuda Email Security Gateway provides. And as with any software, updates might be a little tricky and prove to complicate thing here and there. But all these problems are easily fixable by referring to their knowledgeable technical support team. 

And one thing, if you blocked particular word then it seems to blocks others genuine emails if they had blocked word on emails message or body.staff might be panic if they don't receive emails on time.

• What one piece of advice would you like to give?

It is working perfectly. I would like to recommend it to my brother organizations. 

Future Planning

I am very happy to learn email transmission protocol, research email threats and implement email security product for organization. I think that I have accomplished as much as I could reasonably have to do within the span of time.

I have planned to aware national and international organizations and business sectors about email cyber crimes and solutions. As i have learned working flow, concept and idea of email security tools i would involved with application development companies to developed similar and more advanced products to enhance cyber security and data security.
